This evidence review was conceptualised and authored by Prostate Cancer UK. It provides a comprehensive analysis of recent evidence on overdiagnosis within the MRI era and explores potential strategies to reduce its impact on patients and clinical practice. An abridged version of this review forms part of the APPG report 'Reducing the risks: Overdiagnosis and overtreatment in today's prostate cancer pathway'.
